When I started out creating harp video lessons, I didn’t have the best equipment, nor did I have the confidence to record myself. After many video recordings and years of trial and error, I’ve honed this skill.
It didn’t happen overnight, so I had to tell myself the same thing I tell my students, “be patient and kind with yourself and give it time.” I took my own lesson to heart and discovered a wonderful world of students who are looking for just this product.
I created a harp video lesson series that starts the harpist off from the very beginning. There is some prerequisite of note-reading, but I start them from the very beginning. If you don’t know how to play harp, and are willing to make the commitment that so many have made before you, I can and will teach you how to play harp.
The harp video lessons cover the basics from harp technique to some help in note-reading, music theory. We start from scratch and learn slowly, adding a finger each time and learning exercises that have immediate corresponding songs that utilize those exercises or techniques learned.
It’s an immediate application of what’s learned so the student can see it in action and begin to enjoy the sounds they are making behind the harp.
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard someone say “oh, I’ve always wanted to learn, but never did” well… you know the rest. There is nothing stopping you but yourself (and maybe a budget), but I work with you to give you all the information you need so you have a better idea of how much it will cost all around to rent/buy a harp, maintain the harp and take lessons. The rest is up to you.
